These terms cover buying and using Tatammi. They are written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, email hello@tatammi.com and ask. A question before buying is cheaper for both of us than a refund after.
Tatammi is made by Clikk, Inc. Purchases are sold and processed by Polar, acting as merchant of record. They handle payment and any sales tax or VAT due, and we never see or store your card details. Contact for any matter, commercial or technical: hello@tatammi.com.
A licence to use Tatammi, a macOS application. You are buying a licence to use the software, not the software itself; Clikk, Inc. retains ownership.
The licence is for you. Please don't share your key publicly, resell it, or deploy it across an organisation on one purchase. For team or company licensing, email us. We'd rather sort it out than have you guess.
Tatammi has a 10-day trial. No card, no account, nothing disabled during the trial. When it ends, automatic tiling stops; your desktop names, switching and hotkeys keep working. This exists so you can find out whether the app suits your Mac and your habits before any money changes hands. We'd genuinely rather you used it than refunded it.
Your receipt arrives by email within a few minutes and links to your account page, where your licence key is shown. Paste it into Tatammi and the app checks it with our payment provider, and that check is what makes the three-machine limit and releasing a seat possible. Afterwards it keeps working offline; a fortnight without a connection changes nothing.
If the receipt hasn't arrived within an hour, check your spam folder, then email hello@tatammi.com and we will send you the link. A key you cannot reach is our problem to fix, not a reason to be out of pocket.
Lost the link later? Your key stays on your account page for as long as the product exists. If you cannot find your way back, email us from the address you bought with and we'll help.
30-day refund. The full policy is on the refund page.
macOS 13.0 or later. Tatammi requires macOS Accessibility permission to arrange windows. It cannot work without it, and it will ask on first launch. Because the app uses private macOS frameworks to read and control Spaces, it is distributed directly from this site and is not, and cannot be, on the Mac App Store.
A consequence worth stating plainly: those frameworks are Apple's, undocumented, and can change between macOS releases. We track macOS updates and fix breakage as a priority, but we can't promise a future macOS version will never disrupt a feature. If one ever does, you'll hear it from us honestly and quickly.
Tatammi is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It is a window manager: it moves and resizes windows. It does not create, edit, store or delete your documents.
To the extent the law allows, Clikk, Inc.'s total liability for any claim relating to Tatammi is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under the consumer law of your own country: where that law gives you more than this page does, the law wins.
A licence obtained fraudulently (a reversed payment, a stolen card, a key distributed publicly) is not a valid licence, and continuing to use Tatammi on one is a breach of these terms. That is the whole list. We will never treat criticism of the app, a support request, or simply not updating as misuse.
Your licence covers three Macs at once. Your account page lists them, and you can release one yourself when you replace a machine, so the limit should never be something you have to write to us about. A licence obtained fraudulently can be revoked; nothing else will be.
If these terms change, the version in force for your purchase is the one published on the day you bought. Changes are not applied retroactively to licences already sold.
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to Clikk, Inc. This does not deprive you of the protections of the consumer law where you live.
