Tatammi has no analytics, no telemetry, no crash reporting and no account. It does not track how you use it. There is no server that receives anything about you, because there is no server.
Everything Tatammi knows about your workspaces stays on your Mac, in your own user preferences:
To arrange windows, Tatammi reads window positions, sizes and titles through macOS's Accessibility and window-management APIs. That information is used in the moment to lay out your screen and is never transmitted, stored remotely, or written anywhere outside your own preferences.
| When | What is sent |
|---|---|
| Checking for updates Automatically once a day, or when you choose “Check for Updates…” |
Tatammi requests https://tatammi.com/appcast.xml. As with any web request, our host receives your IP address, the app version and basic system information supplied by macOS. This is used only to serve the file and is not combined with anything else or used to identify you. Automatic checks can be turned off in Settings. |
| Reporting a problem Only when you choose “Report a Problem…” |
Nothing is sent by Tatammi. It opens a draft in your own mail app, prefilled with your app version, macOS version, whether permissions are granted, and how many displays and desktops you have. You can see and edit all of it, and nothing is sent unless you press send. |
That is the complete list. Tatammi makes no other network connections.
Purchases are handled by our payments provider, who acts as merchant of record and processes your payment details and the tax information required to complete the sale. We receive your email address and licence details in order to deliver your licence and provide support. We never see your card details. Your licence key is stored on your Mac.
If you email us, we keep that correspondence so we can help you and follow up on the issue. We don't add you to a mailing list, and we don't pass your address to anyone else.
Since we hold almost nothing, there is little to request — but you can ask what we have, ask us to correct or delete it, or ask for a copy, by emailing hello@tatammi.com. Purchase records may need to be kept where tax law requires it.
Tatammi isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect anything from them.
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it, and material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
